Fulfilled: Matthew 16:18 and Colossians 1:13-18 The reason prophesies fulfilled are so important is the fact that they were made 100’s of years prior to them happening. This is evidence in proving the Omniscience of God. Studying how the Old Law points to the New shows that the Jews should have been prepared for the coming of the Lord.

Hebrews 1:1-2 "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds."
