Introduction: Many times today we get confused about what we are supposed to be doing as the work of the Church. Many times the treasury is misused, many times we fail in doing what God has given us to do. Maybe if we would go back to the simple format the Bible lays out for us we could conclude rightly the work of the Church. All things the Church is supposed to be doing can be summed up under three topics: Preaching, Edification, and Benevolence. Remember the Church is the Body Colossians 1:18, and the Body is the people I Corinthians 12:12. In essence these are commands individually and as a whole.
