INSTITUTIONALISM
- - Human term that basically is used to describe a congregation or church that financially supports an "institution" (not another church).  A denominational office would be an example. Any organization with a "Director" or "Board of Directors" fits the definition, also. Since it is a human term the meaning has changed and will continue to change with time.
